The Conner family has been in the flooring business since 1968. My father founded Conner's Floor Covering in Livingston, TN almost 50 years ago. Carpet and vinyl floor covering was the extent all those decades ago. In 1984 at age 18 I bought an old floor sanding machine and began to re-sand old floors. The demand for hardwood floor boomed in the early 90's so we were positioned for the growth. Many things have changed in 32 years at Conner Bros. In the beginning, my brother and I handled all aspects of the business from measurements, estimating, installing and finishing. Today my three sons run most aspects of the business along with my wife, mother, father, mother in law, brother, nephews, cousins, and daughter in law. We are a family business in every scene of the world.
Installers:
Caleb Conner & Josh Ditto:
Caleb is the youngest son of the owner and has grown up in the hardwood business and gained NWFA Certification in 2012. Caleb and Josh have been installing for a total of 6 years.
Dustin Conner & Patrick Richardson:
Dustin is the owner's cousin and was apprenticed for 6 years until becoming a installation crew leader, he and Patrick and have been installing for a total of 15 years.
Jr. & Sarah Conner:
Jr. is the owner's father and has been in the flooring business since 1966. Celebrating 50 years and still going strong. Semi-retired he is now our staircase and repair specialist.
Sand & finish:
Scott & Jacob Conner:
Scott Conner, the brother of the owner, has been with the business since its beginning. He has performed all aspects of the business, but is currently specializing in sand & finishing since 1994.
